Nate's Candy Conundrum (NCC) is an Easter-themed event running from March 18th to 29th 2016, from April 6th to 18th 2017, from March 22nd to April 3rd 2018, from April 18th to 30th 2019, from April 9th to 21st 2020, from March 25th to April 6th 2021 and from April 7th to 19th 2022. All reruns of this event 2023 onward will run from April 7th to 19th due to the sunsetting.

It's that time of year again where you don't eat chocolate, chocolate eats you! Nates' reset ability fails again, sending the Crusaders into a parallel universe of demonic candy.

It's the time of year once again for questionably-themed candy, and tenuous analogies for rebirth! But your Crusaders aren't fussed with any of that. They just want Gumdrops. Nate's Candy Conundrum returns, with a new Crusader, new skin, and 5 new objectives. The hunt is on!
This event runs until April 21st, which is when the Easter Bunny begins its hibernation.

The chocolate egg supplies are running critically low once again, but thankfully a certain Bunny has been by and has kindly refilled all the local hiding spots. Nate's Candy Conundrum returns, with a new Crusader, new skin, and 5 new objectives. Now get out there and start looking!
This event runs until April 6th, when the sugar crash hits.

Hop. Hop. Hippity hop. Here comes that bunny again. Where does he get the candy from? Hey, looks like he's brought 5 new objectives with him, what a coincidence! Complete them, recruit a new Chimera friend, and consume sugar.
Also included in this update is a selection of Quality of Life features for missions, including a new Crusader sorting dropdown and a system to complete pending missions by reward type.
This event runs until April 19th, when the bunny hops off for another year.
New Crusaders[]
Tier 1[]
Alan the ArchAngel[]
Alan the ArchAngel is kind of a big deal in certain circles. As a top level executive in his organization, he brings the big guns when it comes to his powers. Once added to your roster, you can power him up and at level 75 he'll use some of his divine power to potentially resurrect fallen Crusaders with full health while simultaneously doing 25% damage to all enemies and forcing them back.
RoboRabbit[]
If you've ever wondered how the Easter Bunny manages to distribute all those eggs, now you know: Automation. RoboRabbit is the mechanical workhorse of the holiday season. Rated at an impressive 1,000 candy eggs per second, he's able to cover the globe with treats for kids in every garden in the world.
His particular skills are as unique as he is. At level 50, RoboRabbit will store up part of your DPS and then disburse it as bonus click damage when you put your clicking to the test. At level 100, he'll boost your DPS for a whopping 15 minutes, from just making one little click! Get up to 25% bonus DPS without any gear from 25 clicks, or up to 63% DPS with his Golden Epic! Just don't let him die!
Tier 2[]
Baenarall, Angel of Hope[]
The first of the two new Tier 2 Crusaders is Baenarall. She's a powerful character who brings some awesome DPS buffs to the Crusaders.
At level 150, her ability Diversity increases the global DPS +20% per Unique Tag in the formation but minus 5% for each duplicate tag Crusader (all additive) (ie. male, male, human, animal = 60% for 3 unique tags - 5% for extra male = 55%). At level 400, Baenarall unlocks The Old Guard which increases the global DPS +5% for each non-event Crusader in the formation.
Sisaron the Dragon Sorceress[]
Sisaron, the Dragon Sorceress, is one scaly badass with the dual awesomeness of being both magic-wielding and a Dragon!
At level 50, Sisaron unlocks Loose Magic, an ability that increases the DPS of adjacent Crusaders by 100%, divided by the number of adjacent Crusaders. At level 400 Sisaron's Sharpened Claws Crit Chance +3%.
Tier 3[]
Biff the Magic Rabbit[]
Well looky what we have here: Biff the Magic Rabbit is an AoE DPS who tosses massive carrots at enemies. He'll be the most muscular Magic Rabbit in your formation, we guarantee it!
Note: Biff is not smarter than your average magic rabbit.
Tier 4[]
Bridget the Painter[]
That heavenly laughter you hear? That's the sound of your new friend Bridget the Painter as she makes friends with everyone in your formation and paints them with good cheer. Plus, she'll increase the DPS of the Crusaders in front of her based on how many Good Crusaders are in the formation.
Note: Bridget is a wizard with her paint brush and she knows how to use it.
Tier 5[]
Dr. Almquist, Tusk Specialist[]
Dental problem got you down? Dr. Almquist, Tusk Specialist is here to help! This orc may be a specialist when it comes to tusks, but tusks are just overgrown teeth, right? That's totally the same thing.
Dr. Almquist increases Global DPS for each Evil Crusader with his Laughing Gas, and brings Ceiling Protectors to give an overall boost to Global DPS for the formation.
When Dr. Almquist performs a Wisdom Extraction, the first boss kills in an area will drop decayed teeth, which provide a a stacking Global DPS increase that persists through adventures. Topical Numbing increases the chances for these teeth to drop.
With Tusk Sharpening Dr. Almquist increases DPS every 25 levels over and including area 200, and when there are Gold Fillings, Dr. Almquist increases Gold Find for each stack of Wisdom Extraction!
Tier 6[]
Marzimallow, The Delicious[]
From the sugary depths of creation arises a creature of magical wonder. Marzimallow looks sweet, and they are! Ruler of your yummiest dreams (and dentists' nightmares), this dragon, assembled of some of the best confectionery treats, is ready to help your crew by buffing their magical friends and adding some more gold (and candy) to their scrumptious hoard.
Marzimallow, the Delicious is a Support Crusader. When you want to add them to your formation, you can find them in slot 29.
Tier 7[]
Umut, the Elemental Chimera[]
Heat, searing down on you. The prickle of sweat dripping down your neck and evaporating off your exposed skin. The azure water lapping the stony shore of the beach below you looks tempting, but you're uncertain if it's safe for you to take a swim in it. You turn your attention back to the path beneath your feet as you continue to climb up the craggy hill, the slightly lighter brown dust the only indication it is actually a path. You carefully make your way to the summit, only occasionally wishing that the portal for this world had let you out closer to the spot indicated on the mysterious invitation you received, though when you reach the top and check your watch, you discover you're early.
Gazing at the sky while you recover your breath a little, you note some clouds moving towards you that you hadn't seen earlier. In fact, the sky is starting to darken more than should be possible as the clouds near the summit, the gust of metallic-smelling wind bringing them also churning the water below. Thunder starts to rumble and you glance around urgently for shelter, but there's nothing to be had.
You try to head back down the path, to not be the tallest thing around, but an invisible force keeps you on the summit. You crouch down, arms over your head and eyes closed, hoping against all hopes, but the summit fills with light as the lightning strikes, followed by a fierce crack of thunder. Curiosity gets the better of you and you open your eyes to take a peek.
A large bulky shape looms in the fog that now covers the summit, but the wind is still blowing strong, so the fog blows off quickly, revealing the mass. Three pairs of eyes meet your gaze from three separate heads.
"Leaving so soon?" the lion-looking head asks. "The meeting hasn't even started yet."
You stand up so you can get the invitation out of your pocket. "You're Umut, the Elemental Chimera?"
The snake-looking head nods at you. "Indeed. Thank you for coming."
"It's not every day an invitation randomly shows up hovering in an air bubble," you answer, shrugging. "I figured it would be worth investigating."
"Just the sort of response we like," the goat-like head chimes in. "We shall join you."
You blink and take a second to think. "Wait, what?"
Umut walks closer to you and all three heads look at you again. The lion one speaks, "We are ready to travel and have new adventures and someone who answers mysterious invitations is bound to have some good adventures. We will come with you."
You meet the gaze of each head in turn, noting the fangs glittering in their mouths and the claws on their paws. Another lightning bolt strikes the summit across from you. "Of course," you swallow. "You seem to be just what we need for our adventures as well."
All three of Umut's heads break out into wide grins. "Agreed," the heads chorus as one.
Umut, the Elemental Chimera has joined the party. When you want to use them, you can find them in seat 35.
